New Name, New Direction: Introducing Iveyshire

I am super excited to share some things that have been going on behind the scenes during the last couple weeks! My husband Calvin and I have been talking about several ideas and plans for this blog, and feel that now is the time to put it all out there.

I originally started this blog as a way to easily keep friends and relatives updated on what we were doing in Tennessee. Once it started gaining more readers and interest, though, I realized I needed to put out more content.

1. We named our little homestead! What’s a farm without a name? Iveyshire it is. It’s simple, homey and fits the property so well. Making it the name of the blog just made sense.
   
2. Get ready for more posts about featured topics, including farm, home, and thrifting.
   
3. I’m gearing up to post more in general. Instead of only writing about the biggest renovations and happenings, there will be more of the day to day stuff. Updates on the animals and property, home life, and more.

All of the original posts from this past summer will still be available, but moving forward, things will look a little different.

It’s amazing how once you start following a dream, or taking advantage of an opportunity, you’re met with bigger dreams and better opportunities. Thanks to all the readers who have visited so far, I’m able to start growing this blog and doing more with it than I anticipated.
